On June 22, the Atlanta Braves threw an LGBTQ-friendly evening to celebrate Pride Month; it was the eighth annual occasion of the event. There was a pre-party at the Coca-Cola Roxy near Sun Trust Stadium, mere steps away from the ballpark, where the Braves would later battle the Baltimore Orioles. The event featured DJ Kimber from Nonsense ATL. Attendees could purchase a Pride-themed Braves rainbow baseball cap. The party began at 5:30 p.m.; members of the community and allies celebrated away the evening, before heading up to the Xfinity rooftop area. And of course, the Georgia Voice was there. Approximately 1,591 tickets were sold. Photos by Dixon Taylor.
