Frank pessimistic about pro-LGBT legislation

The recent midterm elections saw Republicans take control of the House and make strides in the Senate, where Democrats continue to hold onto a majority by a slim margin.

Frank did say, however, that he hoped a repeal of the military’s “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy could happen during the lame duck session before Republicans assumed leadership.

Frank continued: “The Republicans have become much more anti-gay in their voting patterns. There is zero chance of anything good happening with Republicans in control of the House.”
