Gay-friendly Ga. congressman to lead progressive charge in U.S. House

According to the press release, “The CPC’s 83 members are committed to the principles of social and economic justice, a non-discriminatory society, and national priorities that represent the interests of all people, not just the wealthy and powerful.”

Among the priorities of the CPC is marriage equality in addition to a progressive tax system, fair trade agreements and universal access to affordable health care.
