The new double live album by Atlanta’s Indigo Girls debuts today

Sharing their ‘Brilliant Dream’

Titled “Staring Down the Brilliant Dream,” the new two-disc set contains live recordings of 31 songs. The recordings include songs from two decades of the duo’s career — from their first major label album, 1989’s “Indigo Girls,” to their most recent independent recording, 2009’s “Poseidon and the Bitter Bug.”

It also offers a diverse mix of songs, from well-known favorites like “Closer to Fine” and “Shame on You” to less common tunes like “Ozilline” and “Three County Highway.”

A deluxe version of the album includes liner notes on each song and photos submitted by fans.

The album is available on Amazon.com and through iTunes.com, and can be ordered directly through the Indigo Girls website at www.indigogirls.com.
