LGBT fans and allies packed the park on June 23 to watch the Atlanta Braves take on the Milwaukee Brewers. It was the seventh annual LGBT Night for the team, and the first at the new SunTrust Park.
Before the game, fans gathered at the Xfinity Rooftop to enjoy adult beverages, food, games and like minds — plus pick up the exclusive rainbow “A” logo ball caps they received as part of their ticket packages. A portion of the ticket purchases was donated to local LGBT nonprofit Lost-n-Found Youth.
The Braves scored a homer early in the game to set things moving in the right direction, and wound up winning the game 5-4.
