Inman Park's Krog Street Tunnel is one of Atlanta's premiere street art venues. The walls lining the tunnel and interior columns have been tagged and re-tagged with various symbols, graffiti and posters. But until quite recently, no one had used the tunnel's walls for a marriage proposal.

“It was a big surprise. Big surprise,” Douglass told GA Voice today, who of course said "yes!"
Just weeks after being named "Chopped" champion, lesbian Chef Ria Pell announced she is closing the doors of Sauced Atlanta this week after four years in Inman Park. The reason? She got an offer she couldn't refuse.
The news comes on the heels of Pell's victory on the Food Network's competitive cooking show "Chopped." Pell won $10,000 and said she is taking her family on vacation to Denmark with the winnings. Check out photos of the party Pell hosted for her appearance on "Chopped" by clicking here.
Pell said she plans re-engergize her iconic restaurant Ria's Bluebird after returning from a "well earned vacation" as well as "plot the next concept in the Atlanta restaurant scene."
“It’s definitely bittersweet to have such great success and then close our doors, but another door is surely opening on the horizon. I’m so proud of what were able to convey with Sauced, showcasing locally grown food, imaginative and inspired cocktails, in a sexy, comfy setting with incredible music," Pell said in a prepared statement.
YouthPride's landlord Inman Park United Methodist Church will change the locks of the LGBT youth facility at 1017 Edgewood Ave. on Friday, June 1, and soon move in a new tenant, but where YouthPride will relocate remains unknown.
YouthPride was to move out of its space in Inman Park on May 31 according to a court settlement with Inman Park UMC. YouthPride had failed to pay some $50,000 in rent and fees and the church said it had no choice but to take legal action.
On the YouthPride website, an entry states: "Movie night is canceled for tonight, Thursday, May 31, 2012. YouthPride will be closed Friday, June 1, 2012, and Saturday, June 2, 2012. Will reopen Monday, June 4, 2012."
A post to the YouthPride Atlanta Facebook page also stated the organization will be closed Friday, June 1, and Saturday, June 2, and reopen Monday, June 4.
