The Atlanta Gay Men's Chorus announced today the lineup for its 31st season. The three shows include a holiday concert in December, a tribute to "Glee" in March, and a celebration of the repeal of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" set for June.
"I look forward to a great season of beautiful programs, and to fulfilling our mission to entertain and to connect audiences and members through music that is distinguished for its creativity, diversity and artistic excellence," AGMC Artistic Director Kevin Robison said in an email announcing the new season.
First up is "Bells in Boyland," a holiday concert set for Dec. 9-10 at the Cathedral of St. Philip. The 100-member chorus partners with the Atlanta Concert ringing for songs such as "Carol of the Bells," "Silver Bells," "O Come, All Ye Faithful," and more. As has become a tradition for the AGMC, an ice cream social will follow each performance.
