All right lesbians (and honorary lesbian dudes!), k.d. lang has formed a new band and she's ready to tour.
Nonesuch Records releases k.d. lang and the Siss Boom Bang's "Sing It Out" April 12. It's the first record the gender-bending Canadian crooner has made entirely with a band of her own since her albums with the Reclines over 20 years ago.
Yes, she's touring, but there are no current stops planned for Atlanta (yet). The nearest you'll catch her might be Boone, NC at the Appalachian Summer Festival on July 15.
That's a bummer, but lang has a few promotional appearances ready for your DVR. She'll perform the album's lead single “I Confess” on Jay Leno April 11, “Good Morning America” on April 14, and “The View” on April 15.
