This past summer “L Word” co-creator Illene Chalken’s spinoff series “the real L word” premiered on Showtime. The show features the day-to-day lives of six openly lesbian women from Los Angeles, California.
Engaged co-stars Jill Sloane Goldstein and Nikki Weiss made time for an exclusive interview with the The Mount Holyoke News before the DVD release of season one on October 19th.

“I deal with a lot of people on a tight budget, because everyone is on a budget, and what we do is a bible for a room and agree on one price and then they can do all the legwork,” says Howard, who is gay and was a contestant on “Top Design.”
