Lesbian singer-songwriter Catie Curtis brings her intimate folk style to Eddie’s Attic tonight

Take a break from haunting

Known for introspective lyrics, the Boston-based Curtis has released 10 CDs, including her most recent, “Happy Stranger,” which was named one of the top 10 folk albums of 2009 by the Boston Globe. She also performed at the Human Rights Campaign’s official inaugural ball for President Obama.

“Every show these days is a testing ground for some of the new and evolving songs, as well as a romp through the material from the last 10 CDs,” Curtis says on her website, www.catiecurtis.com.

Curtis and her wife, Liz, recently recorded an “It Gets Better” video to send messages of hope to LGBT youth.
