Scissor Sisters, with gay frontman Jake Shears, perform in concert at the Buckhead Theatre as part of the tour promoting their third album, “Night Work.”
The Scissor Sisters, which take their name from a sexual position between two women, combine glam rock, disco and alternative music for a distinct sound that keeps their fans hopping.
In 2004, the band released their first album, “Scissor Sisters,” which included a cover of Pink Floyd’s “Comfortably Numb” that became a hit. The album went on to become No. 1 on the UK charts.
Scissor Sisters released their second album, “Ta-Dah,” in 2006 which also reached the top spot on the UK charts. Their newest album, “Night Work,” was released in June.
