Thompson, who hails from Warner Robins, owns an alternative bookstore in Warner Robins called “A Touch of Magick” that sells books, jewelry and incense. Thompson is also involved with AdrenalineNightclub in Macon (formerly Club Kaos). Matt Neumann, the former owner and publisher of David Magazine, was also involved with Club Kaos.
An interesting point to note, as of this post, the websites of Southern Voice and David Atlanta are still registered to Brian Sawyer, who has been listed as the head of “operations and finance” for David Magazine in the past. O’Kelley said that Sawyer would not have any involvement in the new David Magazine.
