Atlanta Photographer Laurie Edward Matthews announces the release of his 14 month 2011 photo calendar BodyBeautiful, which will support the charities Atlanta Pet Rescue and Jerusalem House.

The calendars are hot off the press and feature an artistic collection of male models from Atlanta, GA showcasing the form and physique of the male body.

“I am extremely excited and honored to release my first calendar,” Matthews said. “BodyBeautiful was a project that I dedicated over 1 year of time in order to make sure that it was not a cookie cutter calendar and was something that Atlanta had not seen before.”

BodyBeautiful features a very diverse group of Atlanta male models, including Bryan Trow from A&E’s “Flip This House.”

25 models were photographed for this project and then narrowed down to 14 by a group of 6 local residents.

“The elimination process was very difficult,” Matthews said. “I was very lucky to have photographed some amazing models.”

The official release will be at Outwrite Bookstore and Coffee House on Friday, July 30th at 7:30pm. The photographer and models will be available to sign the calendar during the event. Executives from both Jerusalem House and Atlanta Pet Rescue will also be at the release, in addition to local media and other special guests, including Nicole Paige Brooks.

Prior to the official release event at Outwrite, signings will be held at clubs, restaurants and venues around Atlanta. A complete listing of events will be available on www.LaurieEdward.com.

The calendar is also available for sale on www.LaurieEdward.com and at many businesses, launch signings and appearances around the City.
