Editor of ‘Kicked Out’ anthology visits Charis to discuss issues homeless LGBT youth face

Charis Books & More hosts Sassafrass Lowery, editor of “Kicked Out,” an anthology “that brings together the voices of current and former homeless LGBTQ youth and tells the forgotten stories of some our nation’s most vulnerable citizens.”

Judy Shepard, mother of Matthew Shepard, writes the introduction to the anthology.
Recently, queer youth have been targeted by anti-gay bullying leading some to kill themselves.
