Pure Heat Community Festival Postponed to 2021

The Pure Heat Community Festival has been postponed due to COVID-19.

The festival, which was scheduled for Sunday, September 6 in Piedmont Park during the annual Atlanta Black Gay Pride celebration, will be postponed until Labor Day weekend 2021, according to a statement released by festival organizers.

“We are disappointed that we will be unable to hold this year’s event for our over 30,000+ attendees and supporters,” the festival team said. “But we know that it’s the right decision based on the information we have from the City of Atlanta and guidance from the CDC. Our team will continue to reach out directly to exhibitors, partners, and supporters with additional information regarding our decision.”

Pure Heat is a free cultural festival equipped with market and food vendors, live celebrity and local performers, entertainment, educational forums, prizes, and giveaways, all in the name of community, pride, and vision.

Planning for the upcoming festival has already commenced, with the organizers getting more celebrity artists, community influencers, vendors, exciting surprises, and special guests for next year. For updates, visit pureheatcommunityfestival.com.
