My Sister’s Room holding Atlanta fundraiser for victims of Orlando LGBT club shooting

Popular Atlanta lesbian bar My Sister’s Room is doing its part in the wake of the shooting at LGBT Orlando nightclub Pulse by hosting a fundraiser to support the victims and their families.

The event will take place on Sunday from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. with a $5.00 minimum donation at the door and a raffle. DJ Liz Owen will be spinning and there’s a 7 p.m. show featuring Jordan Michaels McCord and Will Walker.

All proceeds from the door and the raffle will go to the Equality Florida fundraiser which is assisting the Pulse shooting victims and their families. MSR’s owners are also donating 10 percent of gross sales from Wednesday through Sunday and door proceeds from Friday and Saturday night.

Here’s a list of the raffle items that have been donated so far, and MSR is looking for additional items:

~Doris White of Lances Jewelry has agreed to donate an item worth $2000 to be raffled.

~Jeremiah Lawson on behalf of Diageo has donated $200 worth of gift certiciates.

~Emily Fest of www.facebook.com/fueleddesigns donated Car decals to sell with 100% sales going to the Victims fund.

~Erin Bakerman is donating a beautiful glass Candle Holder and Candle worth $77

~Mulitple companies have agreed to donate gift certificates which we will list when we receive them!
