Dubbed GSAGA for short, the group is actually a coalition made up of the Atlanta Lesbian Health Initiative, The Rainbow Center, Aging Services of Georgia, and other advocates.

GSAGA hosts a forum July 10 focused on “Planning for Successful Aging.”

“We hope to begin the dialogue not only about the unique challenges facing the LGBT community as we age, but aging issues in general,” says Doug Carl, a GSAGA organizer.

The forum will include discussions of social networking, legal protections, health and wellness, and housing and financing.
