1. The hills are alive with the sound of wedding bells. In a constitutional court ruling announced yesterday, Austria became the 16th European nation to grant marriage equality for all its citizens. The court recommended that marriage rights be opened to all same-sex couples beginning in 2019.

2. Lexington, Kentucky, Mayor Jim Gray has announced he is running for Congress next November. Should two-term mayor Gray take GOP Rep. Andy Barr’s seat, he will be the first openly gay representative to serve in the Bluegrass State.

3. Despite rumors of marital difficulties, Ellen DeGeneres and “Arrested Development” star Portia de Rossi are not divorcing, DeGeneres told People Magazine in this week’s cover story. “I am grateful for everything. I am grateful for my health, and I am so grateful for the love in my life,” she said. “Because not everybody finds that. Not everybody finds that best friend.”

4. The 100th episode of FOX’s “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” — airing next Tuesday — explores a plot point revealed in last night’s episode, in which Stephanie Beatriz’s character, Rosa, revealed that she is bisexual, much like the actress herself. “For Rosa, there was a point for her where she heard that word somewhere along the line and she saw herself in that word, so for her, it was important for her to identify in that way,” Beatriz told Entertainment Weekly. “I suggested that that word was really important to Rosa and that it also would be really important to the bi community to have that word said aloud on TV.”
