1. Calling all parents: Tune in to parenting resource Kids In the House today at 2 p.m. for a live broadcast with experts on gender identity, gender expression and teen transitions.

2. Massachusetts Institute of Technology announced it’s creating a new position, senior associate dean for diversity and community involvement. The dean will be Gustavo Burkett, an openly gay Ph.D. student at MIT, who also happens to be an immigrant.

3. Jess Jones, who transitioned from female to male, shares his observations about male privilege, having experienced it from both sides in his lifetime. An interesting read for Women’s History Month.

4. Happy 20th anniversary, “Buffy the Vampire Slayer:” one of the first shows to depict a lesbian relationship “that wasn’t for ratings and wasn’t a punchline.” Juliet Bennett Rylah writes about the romance between characters Willow and Tara for Nerdist.

5. VIDEO OF THE DAY: See and hear how four out NCAA divers did in the 2017 Zone A Championships held earlier this month in Christiansburg, Virginia. The gay divers represented Harvard, Old Dominion, Drexel and West Virginia.
