Stone Mountain’s ART Station Re-opens Following Renovations

ART Station, a contemporary arts center in Stone Mountain, will re-open its doors to the public after completing a $1.1 million renovation campaign.

The Next Generation Campaign provides new infrastructure for ART Station that will ensure the center remains open for generations to come. The renovation includes new HVAC, new electrical, new plumbing, new windows and doors, an expansion of the theatre, the renovation of the lobby, and the introduction of a new gift shop.

This project was funded by major metro Atlanta foundations and corporations, as well as multiple individual contributions.

“We are so thankful for the support of the Atlanta funding community and our individual donors who have made this campaign successful,” said ART Station President, Founder, and Artistic Director David Thomas in a statement, “and have invested in the future of ART Station.”

Doors to the newly renovated facility will be open to the public on Wednesday, October 23 at 3pm. For more information, visit artstation.org.
