1. Ebony Morgan, a black transwoman, was fatally shot in Lynchburg, Virginia, this weekend. Morgan is the 15th transwoman killed this year.

2. A California legislator put forth a bill that would require workplace training on working with transgender and gender nonconforming employees, similar to the way sexual harassment training is handled.

3. Gov. Richardo Rossello of Puerto Rico formed the island’s first LGBT advisory board to champion the community.
