The Atlanta Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (AGLCC) is busy throughout the year, whether it’s hosting networking nights, business summits or mayoral forums. But once a year they gather for a ritzy affair to honor the city’s LGBT business leaders, and such was the case Friday night at the Westin Buckhead Atlanta for the group’s Community Awards Dinner.
Nominees were announced and honored last month (thanks for the nod for Small Business of the Year, folks!). Winners at Friday’s dinner – co-emceed by Tony Kearney and Gabrielle Claiborne – included:
- Carlton Brown for Business Man of the Year
- Emma Foulkes for Business Woman of the Year
- Georgia Equality for Guardian Angel Award
- Courtney DeDi for Rising Star Award
- Lab Monkey Communications for Corporate Ally Award
- Luis Quinones for Member of the Year
- Creative Approach for Small Business of the Year
